The St. John's Wort version of SereniTea:  Something for the Blues contains St. John's Wort, Lemon Balm, Rose Petals, Sencha Green Tea, and Oatstraw.  All ingredients are organic.

The Lavender version of SereniTea:  Something for the Blues contains Lavender, Lemon Balm, Rose Petals, Sencha Green Tea, and Oatstraw.  All ingredients are organic.

For the St. John's Wort version, if you are taking medication, it would be a good idea for both your doctor and I to check for interactions with your medications.  I've done a lot of research in this direction, and am well-used to the process.

For the Lavender version, it should not be used prior to puberty, and should not be used by boys until they are past puberty.

Neither version is safe during pregnancy or while nursing.

A batch is .9 ounces by weight and will make 30-35 cups of tea.

**  I am not a doctor.  The FDA (along with other governmental agencies) has not recognized any of this as fact.  We do draw on science as well as tradition, but the path from research proving efficacy to formalized treatment is a long and complicated one.  (Especially since plants can’t really be patented.)  None of the information contained in these pages is intended to diagnose, treat, or cure disease from a medical standpoint.

***I am not a psychologist or psychiatrist. No mood tea that I formulate is directly intended to replace any psychiatric medication. If you are taking any form of psychiatric medication, you should consult both me and your doctor before drinking one of our SereniTeas. The side effects and contraindications for practically all psychiatric meds are long and complicated, and I really prefer to look into them before suggesting a tea.
