Questa's Tranquility contains Oat Tops, Hawthorn Berries, Lavender, Lemon Peel, Lemon Balm, and either St. John's Wort or Oatstraw, depending on the version.  All ingredients are organic.

This tea should not be used by anyone prepubescent, as Lavender has hormonal effects.  For the same reason, it should not be used while pregnant or nursing.  If you are taking psychiatric medication or medications for nerve pain, please send me your medication list so I can check for contraindication, or just go with the Oatstraw variant.

A batch of Questa's Tranquility weighs 1.6 ounces, and will make 20-25 cups of tea.

**  I am not a doctor.  The FDA (along with other governmental agencies) has not recognized any of this as fact.  We do draw on science as well as tradition, but the path from research proving efficacy to formalized treatment is a long and complicated one.  (Especially since plants can’t really be patented.)  None of the information contained in these pages is intended to diagnose, treat, or cure disease from a medical standpoint.

***I am not a psychologist or psychiatrist. No mood tea that I formulate is directly intended to replace any psychiatric medication. If you are taking any form of psychiatric medication, you should consult both me and your doctor before drinking one of our SereniTeas. The side effects and contraindications for practically all psychiatric meds are long and complicated, and I really prefer to look into them before suggesting a tea.
